Maximizing Your Tooth Whitening

Recently there have been many questions about achieving the best result from whitening your teeth, otherwise commonly called bleaching.
It is very important to remember that while you are bleaching your teeth stay away from food and drinks that stain. If it would permanently stain your blouse or shirt, it's a no-no and will stain your teeth.

Be sure to brush your teeth just prior to placing your tray in your mouth. The proteins in your saliva coat your teeth and can inhibit the bleaching process.
Be sure that when you are not wearing your bleaching trays that they are washed and stored in the case provided. Dogs just love bleaching trays; they think they are chew toys and they destroy them in a moment.

When you are not using your bleaching material be sure to keep it refrigerated to enhance it freshness. Heat will tend to prematurely lessen the effectiveness of the material.

If you are prone to sensitivity while wearing your trays, if you are not allergic or sensitive to Ibuprofen, taking one tab before a hour before beginning a whitening session.
