Why High Tech?

High tech equipment is becoming more widespread in dentistry than ever before. One important high tech tool that has had a major impact in our office is the utilization of a digital camera. With a digital camera we get the immediate gratification of instant photos giving us access to a tremendous amount of information. Magnifying a photo on a 42 inch monitor allows us to see all aspects of an area that could never be done with the naked eye or even with magnifying loupes!
How does this benefit you the patient, with this information we are able to diagnose dental disease more accurately. The magnification of the photographs also provides a chance for patient's to see what the dental team is seeing. We feel sharing of information and educating our clients is of supreme importance to providing the patient with the opportunity to be involved in the decision making process which will ultimately lead to best dental care that is possible.
